Ch1 & Ch2 shouldn’t get everything for nothing that is exactly correct, the extra heroes are a bonus for the players with all the chapters. Plus it's an incentive for players to play the other 2 previous campaigns.

We already had this argument about all the Factions events and none in Tyria etc so I guess we will have this argument every 6 months.

Since you only need one of any class to make whatever build you want, they do not need to have a dozen in each chapter, you can make anything you want with the exsisting ones. The only exception is a Ritualist and Assassin Primary, if they are not available in Prophecies, than they will need to have both available in Factions in order to allow us to use those Hero Primaries in our team. It woln't allow us to use multiple of each, but since neither Ritualist nor Assassin are very spectacular in numbers, one of each would be enough.

I didn't read much about it myself, but if we do have Rit and Asn Primary heros in Prophecies, than it doesn't really matter at all.

Usually you'll need two monks on high end areas if you aren't solo farming and some places require two warriors or trappers or whatever. This might not be a problem but you can't assume the other guy will have the skills you need for the area.

Or an expansion pack which adds new races and heroes (and brings all the games up to nightfall level for things like crafters and other things like that).

EDIT: I would strongly prefer that extra heroes be free, but if they have to be sold seeing how anet isn't getting a monthly fee from us, then I'd like to be able to go to a retailer and buy something with a lot of extras.

Anet, after the release of Nightfall and everything has calmed down a bit, could you guys go in and add more heroes to the original two campaigns?

Maybe not one hero for each class in the chapter, but at least let us have one of every hero primary if we own every chapter. Since there is only one hero from cantha, and there are no assassins or ritualists in cantha, one of them is going to be let out.

I'd also like to have every main npc in factions and proph as a hero, but that might be pushing it.

I bet its the menhlo that was born in prophecies (for the prophecies one) and the menhlo that was born in cantha (for the factions one).

I say this because, if you read the going from tyria to cantha quest, or the going from cantha to tyria quest, menhlo says he was born in Tyria for one of them. Then in the other, he says he was born in Cantha. I dunno if they changed it, but I know the quests said that when factions first came out.

Even though I too would prefer that new races and heros were free, I would definitly pay $5-$10 to unlock a npc that can change my characters to look like nagas, oni, char, tengu, or something else that resembles a human. And I might even pay more for things that don't resemble humans(it depends on what it is). And by $5-$10, I mean that much, per skin. I know some of you might say $10 is a lot for a skin (5 skins*$10 each=$50, AKA a whole new chapter's worth of money), but thats just how much I want it.

And then maybe like $2-$3 per new hero that would be unlocked for your whole account?(and maybe you can't even buy it unless you own nightfall, but that would be Arena Net's decision)

I would really like those two things, but I'm not sure if anyone else would like them.

Im not too keen on the idea of allowing us to "buy new heroes" in the online store.

To purchase new character slots is one thing (and a good thing), but to allow people to buy heroes would give others a huge advantage.

Lests assume your only talking about players who own nightfall:

You could have the scenario where in nightfall, you only aquire one monk in the entire game as a heroe.

But if you use the online-store, you can purchase a second monk, or a second warrior etc etc.

Resulting in some people having better heroe teams. I know I couldnt afford to be buying new Heroes all the time with real money.

I suggest that if Heroes were to be "bought", I would much rather have it be done in-game buy spending gold, as apose to using real money.

You could then "hire" a Heroe for the length of your character. But not make it cheap. And have it so every month they require "wages" to keep them.
